Lettings Team Update

Here at Wilson Defraine we take great pride in the experience our clients receive on a daily basis from our dedicated work family, with each individual member playing a valuable part.  Our new additions are no exception to this. 

Our lettings team have been lucky enough to benefit from three new members, all with their own set of exceptional skills to make your renting and letting process a breeze. 

Wendy Letford

As our newly appointed Lettings Branch & Property Manager, Wendy has taken over the management of our lettings portfolio as well as the day to day running of our Lemington Branch. 
With experience and knowledge which aligns well, Wendy has over 27 years’ experience in Property Management, Housing Management, Residential & Social Housing and has previously managed a portfolio of over 168 residential properties overseeing the successful management, maintenance and refurbishment as well as dealing with tenants.

Wendy's experience also extends to coordination of budgets, management contracts, outlining maintenance scopes, managing timelines and deadlines, tracking and reporting on overall progress, managing daily operations and the implementation of refurbishments, forecasting project revenue and ensuring all goals were met, which in turn reduced maintenance costs for property owners. 

Wendy joins the team with great enthusiasm and endless potential for not only our existing and new landlords but our tenants alike. 

Claire Machin Phillips

Claire has joined us as Lettings Administrator, with over 25 years of customer service and management experience, Claire also has a vast knowledge of health and safety.  We have no doubt that she will be a fantastic support to Wendy as they take charge of the residential lettings department.  Claire has settled in brilliantly and is already a formidable member of TeamWD being highly adept, single handedly installing 4 tenants into their new homes in her very first week whilst handling multiple applications simultaneously!

Libby Duggan

Libby has experience in customer facing roles working in varying industries prior to joining WD and has already proven that she can successfully work alone as well as part of a team.  Libby is local to the NE15 area and was born in the west end of Newcastle, her knowledge of the area will serve as a great assest as she assists in the offering of residential properties to the local and wider community.  Libby is also embarking on a modern apprenticeship which will contribute to new skills assisting her in her future career path.
